ABOUT

My name is Bailey Grotton, and I am the founder of Being Human Meditations. I am a mindfulness meditation teacher certified by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield with years of experience helping myself and others work through anxiety. Mindfulness meditation is often recommended by mental health professionals in conjunction with therapy services and can help to reconnect with the body’s intuition, disassociate from thoughts, and have a discussion with your feelings.
I personally have struggled with anxiety and depression throughout my life and found that meditation keeps me balanced. It is how I started a relationship with myself, one based out of honesty and filled with depth. My relationship with meditation has been a huge part of my life and has helped me immensely become the person that I am today.

Being Human: The Basics
This course is for students that would like to learn how to meditate. Students will learn the power of the breath, along with mindfulness of body, thoughts, and emotions.

Being Human: Cultivating
Once the basics have been mastered, students can move into bringing loving-kindness, equanimity, compassion, gratitude into the body. This allows the student to live life from a place of kindness.

Weekly Group Meditation
Weekly Group Meditations are designed to assist students with a daily meditation routine with the use of a friendly, supportive community. Students can log in and join a guided meditation.
